Range/Penetration O3 vs O4 - Rekon 7 install

I had a lot of trouble to get my 7" to fly again after it caught fire for no apparent reason.

Now here's a short installing video of the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro into the Rekon 7 build - fits nicely but is a bit too far to the front and very much unprotected. The USB plug is hard to reach - need to losen four screws to get to it so update and active first!Then I compare a morning flight with the O3 to an afternoon flight with the O4 regarding the penetration of the signal. Strangely the O4 seldom reaches 50 mps but it holds on to a usable picture quite a bit longer so I don't bail out before the last avenue. Picture quality doesn't say much because it's at different times of day and for the O4 I use an ND8 filter, a slower shutter and probably a higher ISO.
