Rocchetta Mattei

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

In this drone video by contributor Marco Miele, you'll get a bird's eye view of the Rocchetta Mattei, a well-known 19th-century estate in the Apennine Mountains of the province of Bologna in north-central Italy.  It was the home of Count Cesare Mattei, a well-known politician and self-taught doctor who was referenced in the great Russian novel the Brothers Karamozov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky.  The fortress-like landmark in Italy's Emilia-Romagna region fell into a ruinous state but was restored and opened to the public in 2015.
