Rodnei Mountains - Pietrosul Rodnei Summit

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Top AirVuz contributor Frame Hunters Media brings us this fantastic drone video record of a hike to the highest peak in Romania's Rodna Mountains. Part of the Eastern Inner Carpathians, the Rodna's are located near the northernmost part of the country, in the Maramureș Region. Their highest peak, Pietrosul Rodnei has a maximum elevation of about 2.3k meters above sea level or around 7.6k ft. The mountain is part of a long ridge which forms the backbone of the chain and which runs for about 50 km or around 30 mi.
