Saudade is that unique blend of longing, memories, and the desire to relive something that has already passed. And perhaps there is no better word to describe this journey through Portugal. 🇵🇹

In this video, we travel through some of the most remarkable places along Portugal’s coast and central region, combining cinematic imagery with glimpses into the history, curiosities, and unique character of each destination.

Our journey begins among the breathtaking landscapes of Sintra, discovering Azenhas do Mar, a small village perched dramatically above the Atlantic cliffs; the ancient walls of the Castelo dos Mouros; and the spectacular Palácio Nacional da Pena, one of the greatest symbols of Portuguese Romanticism.

We continue our journey past the traditional Moinhos da Pinhôa, before stepping into Óbidos, a beautiful medieval town surrounded by ancient walls, where every street seems to preserve a fragment of Portugal’s history.

Then, the Atlantic takes center stage. We visit Baleal, explore the dramatic cliffs of Ilhéu da Papôa, and make our way to Peniche, a land shaped by fishermen, fortresses, and the ocean.

And we end our journey in Nazaré, a town deeply connected to the sea and its traditions — and, in recent years, to the legendary giant waves that have made it one of the most iconic surfing destinations in the world.

A journey through castles, medieval towns, windmills, cliffs, beaches, and the ocean.

But above all, a journey made of moments.
