had a crash and took out the cpu on one of my flight controllers , there's not many of these around atm so i had to fix it! had the bright idea of recording and narrating it at the same time...
The stm32 got hit with 16V so needed replacing i had a spare Xracer V1 "sp3racing clone" that i could steal the cpu from to get the board working .. sounds simple yea? well it is and it isn't , if your like me then you start shaking when your recording yourself and that's normally ok for the general review here and there but when you need super fine accuracy this isnt your best friend , It all worked out in the end but i did turn a 3 minute job into a near 20 minute haul so i hope this is of some interest :) , the main thing to take away here is it can be fixed if you stuff up , to paraphrase a comment on one of Louis Rossmans videos..Its all about turning a "oh i fucked up " moment into a "give me a minute" don't freak out you still might be able to fix it or someone else might be able to ;)
if this gets any kind of response i may work harder on camera angles and start doing more of these videos as i do fix alot of shit for myself and other fellow RC enthusiast's.
