STRIKE… SULEYMANIYE MOSQUE/ISTANBUL
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The Süleymaniye Mosque is the second-largest in Istanbul, Turkey, a city known in part for its famous mosques. Situated on the south side of the Golden Horn in western (European) Istanbul, the great landmark was built in the 1550's on the orders of Suleiman the Magnificent, the longest-reigning Ottoman sultanate. The mosque was badly damaged in the Great Fire of 1660 but later restored. One of the city's most-visited sites, the great mosque can be seen from above in this drone video by contributor aedincer.
