SailGP | FPV Highlights | Season 2, Final Round - San Francisco
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The SailGP sailing competition is pretty much made for first person view (FPV) drones. The foiling catamarans used in these international races are capable of hitting speeds of over 60 knots - about 70 miles per hour or around 110 km/hr. Too fast for gimbal-stabilized drones, they are perfect for their faster FPV cousins. In this outstanding piece, Dirty Dishes Productions shows us some footage from the SailGP 2021-22 Season Final Round, held in San Francisco Bay in March of 2022. This was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list.
