San Nicola l'Arena (according to the ancient denomination San Nicolò l'Arena Tonnara, Santa Nicuola in Sicilian) is a fraction of Trabia, a municipality in the metropolitan city of Palermo in Sicily. San Nicola is about 32 kilometers from the Sicilian capital. It is a village that lives mainly from fishing, agriculture and, especially in summer, tourism. It is, in fact, a seaside resort and has an enchanting tourist port. The agglomeration of houses develops around the main road axis that responds to the name of Corso Umberto Primo, and which is nothing more than the continuation within the beautiful seaside village of the Northern Sicilian State Road 113.
