Sea of Cortez

Mexico's Sea of Cortez goes by several different names; in the USA it's more frequently known as the Gulf of California.  It's a long body of water which separates Baja California from the Mexican mainland.   It has a very long coastline of about 4k km (around 2.4k mi.) and is extremely deep - 3k meters (just under 10k ft.) at its deepest point.  Most of its shoreline is lightly populated, and it's known for its tremendously diverse sea life.  Check it out from above in this drone video by award winning contributor Postandfly.
