The European main route E77 passes through the village, as well as the main routes of buses and railways, thanks to which it has good connections with the surrounding villages. The non-electrified single-track railway line Kraľovany - Trstená also passes through the village, on which passenger and freight trains run regularly. The village is located in the foothills of Orava Magura and Orava Highlands. The ruins of the church of St. Cosmas and Damian, a single-nave Baroque building with a polygonal ending of the presbytery and a tower from 1736. The church includes an older Renaissance tower of the original church from 1642. At this time, the church was evangelical, with breaks until 1709. The building was abandoned after 1880. when they built a new church in the village.
