Shepherd and cattle in Upper Indian Himalayas

Captured here is a shepherd and his cattle returning to home after a long day of grazing in upper Himalayas in India. This place called Debring is situated at 15800ft (approx.) and finding green pasture is a tough job. They travel more than 25 kms(one way) from their home to find grass for grazing. They do this almost everyday without fail. Managing the herd is a key skill which is diminishing in the modern world. It is satisfying to see people keeping this profession alive even though easier ways of living are coming to light. Note : This shepherd is my friend(as I meet him every year). He gave me permissions to fly here. Also, apologies for the jerky movements. I was partially snow blinded from all the snow I witnessed during the day.
