Sleeping Giants - Mystic Seaport 4K Drone Experience!
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Top AirVuz contributor PO3SMITH brings us this excellent drone video of one of the USA's largest maritime museums: the Mystic Seaport in the New England state of Connecticut. Located in its namesake town in the southeastern corner of the state, Mystic was a significant shipbuilding center, with over 600 ships built over a 135 year period beginning in 1784. Established in 1929, in 1941 the museum acquired the Charles W. Morgan, the only surviving wooden sailing whaler. Four of the vessels moored here are National Historic Landmarks.

offer's unparalleled first hand looks at America's Maritime Past, everything from shipbuilding, whaling and other nautical subjects. Taking great care to show respect and appreciation for maritime history, I present Mystic and the ships being worked on in glorious 4K. Seen at the end is a local legend - the 65 year old Mayflower II replica! She underwent a major overhaul and was planed to make her triumphant return to America's hometown of Plymouth, MA for its 400th anniversary of the Mayflower crossing the Atlantic to America but the recent Pandemic has delayed her return until further notice. Please enjoy this birds-eye view of America's nautical past and one of my most favorite places to visit in the USA!
