I had a chance this weekend to get out with a friend and help him get his first few FPV packs in! :D Always exciting to see someone else catching the vision! His first flights went amazing, he's a natural for sure. Can't wait to see him progress in the hobby! We hit up the school near my house, and I had a chance to test the latest tweaks to the quad I've been working on tuning. After a suggestion from a user in the Betaflight slack, I turned off anti-gravity on this one, and lowered my I gains just slightly. I honestly don't think there's anything more I can do to improve the tune on this one :D It only goes downhill from here! The responsiveness on this thing is nuts. It's so responsive I'm having to relearn some of my stick movements to accommodate the increased directness. I only got two quick packs in here, and not much variety, I was mostly feeling out the tune. I have to say this is probably one of the best setups I've ever flown up to this point, and this is not a new rig. The improvement may not be dramatic if you've already taken the time to optimize your filters. Primarily the filter sliders combined with the RPM filter take a huge amount of the effort and guesswork out of dialing in a tune. I still think the PID sliders are probably a bit too generic to really get a totally locked in tune without manually changing the parameters, but the filters tab just got a ton easier to deal with. Usability +10 :D
