St. Louis Park served as home to some of the more famous living Minnesotans, such as Pulitzer-prize winning writer Tom Friedman, moviemakers Joel and Ethan Coen, and former Saturday Night Live writer and U.S. Senator Al Franken. The video features a dozen different spots, including the newer-vintage Excelsior-Grand and West End mixed use developments.

I decided to put together a drone video compilation of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, which is a couple of suburbs away from where I grew up. SLP as it's known was home to a lot of famous people like the Coen Brothers (movie guys), Tom Friedman (New York Times columnist), Al Franken (Saturday Night Live writer and then Senator), songwriters Dan Wilson and Peter Himmelman, ex-Bears coach Mark Trestman, etc. Here are the locations in order of appearance 1. Westwood Nature Center 2. SLP Recreation Center 3. Knollwood Mall 4. Methodist Hospital 5. SLP High School 6. SLP High School Football Field 7. SLP Junior High (used to be Westwood Junior High) 8. New apartments in Lake Street and France area 9. Wolfe Park area 10. Excelsior-Grand (Retail area) 11. Excelsior-Grand (Residential area) 12. West End (Retail area) 13. West End (Residential and Hotel area) 14. Old B'Nai Emet Synagogue (it's something else now but this was where the synagogue scenes from the Coen Brothers movie A Serious Man were filmed) Shot with DJI Mavic Pro 2
