Over one hundred people flocked to Joe’s Kiosk at Henley Beach on Sunday January 31st to join surreal artist Andrew Baines who dedicated his 10th anniversary ‘Suits in the Sea’ photo shoot to THRF’s Under Our Roof project, providing homes for country cancer patients and their families. Dressed in black, participants posed for the photo with their umbrella and soft toy to support THRF's Under Our Roof project. The early hour didn’t faze families, friends or even suited up dogs who arrived at 7am to line up on the water’s edge! Bringing a black umbrella and a soft toy to symbolise families affected by cancer, each person donated $10 to the Under Our Roof project helping THRF raise nearly $1000 to support the building of more homes. “This latest photo shoot was a way of celebrating the last decade while helping a wonderful cause,” Andrew said. “If this photo event can help improve the lives of country patients and families then I think that is a great way to celebrate the last ten years of work.” Thank you to Andrew and those who so willingly gave up their Sunday morning sleep in to be part of the photo! Special thanks also to Shane Yeend for providing the drone on the day, and Alex Fragnito for taking the pictures.
