Summer Days - Zuid-Limburg (Netherlands)

Here's a stunning aerial view of the rural landscape of the Dutch province of Limburg, compliments of contributor JamesButtiens.  Limburg is the most geographically isolated of the 12 provinces of the Netherlands; it has longer borders with Belgium and Germany than with the neighboring Dutch province of North Brabant.  One of the key battlegrounds in the bloody 80 Years War for Dutch independence (1568-1848), the now very peaceful countryside consists of rolling hills on the Great European Plain.
