Sunrise on the island

Check out these drone views of a tiny uninhabited island off the coast of Mexico, compliments of contributor Patrioka.  It's called the Island of Sacrifices, and it's located a bit to the southeast of the Port of Veracruz in the Gulf of Mexico.  The island was given its name by the Spanish conquistador Bernal Díaz del Castillo, who came upon the island on an expedition in 1518 and noted a recent human sacrifice which had taken place there.  The waters surrounding the island constitute part of the Veracruz Reef System National Park.
