Sunrise over Svenner Lighthouse

Here's a beautiful aerial view of a well-known lighthouse in the southern part of Norway, compliments of contributor Karlzen.  Svenner Lighthouse is located on a small island in the municipality of Larvik in Vestfold County.  Situated astride one of the main approaches into the Oslofjord and to the city of Oslo at its head, the current lighthouse dates to 1900.  The tower stands just under 20 meters (around 62 ft.), with a focal height of about 40 meters or 130 ft. It's been automated since 2003.
