AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist emrahkarakoc brings us this stunning drone video of a historic spot in the mountains of eastern Turkey. It's the ruins of the Monastery of the Holy Illuminator, and it's located on Mt. Sebuh in the province of Erzinjan at an altitude of about 8.5k ft. above sea level (around 2.6k m). The Holy Illuminator, aka Gregory the Illuminator, founded the Amenian Apostolic Church in the early 4th century AD, at a time when much of what is now eastern Turkey was under the control of the Kingdom of Armenia.
