Tazı Canyon (Wisdom Valley) is a canyon valley located in Gaziler village of Beşkonak District of Manavgat district of Antalya province. Tazı Canyon, located within the borders of Köprülü Canyon National Park, was formed by the Köprüçay Stream eroding the valley. It is estimated that the formation of the canyon dates back to the ice age[1]. It was formed by carving the insides of limestone rocks in non-calcareous regions as a result of ice masses separating from each other, melting and releasing themselves into the valleys, creating erosion with great energy. The length of the canyon is 4 km, its width is 30-50 m, and its edge height is 300-400 meters.
Although Tazı Canyon has been known by local people living in the region for a long time, it was discovered by travelers 3-4 years ago and has become one of the most popular travel routes in recent years.
It is 105 km between the Introntal Canyon and the center of Antalya. To reach the valley, you must first come to Köprülü Canyon National Park, located within the borders of Manavgat and Serik districts. From here, continue towards Beşkonak, pass the Selge crossroads, and proceed approximately 8 km towards Gaziler village, before seeing the Tazı sign on the right. By taking this turn and continuing for another 4 km, you reach the Gaziler village cemetery. From here you have to walk to the canyon, you can reach the canyon after walking about 1200 meters.
