Got a chance this week to catch up with an out-of town pilot and make a new friend! First time I've flown with someone in probably a year, so it was nice to catch up with another pilot in person. Hit a few spots near my office, but ended up at the church where I needed to pick up my kids. Got a couple packs at each spot, but I only recorded at the church, so here it is! Made some progress with the tune on the Bardwell QAV-S in 4.3. Dialed back antigravity from what the UAVTech preset was using, tweaked my I gains and D max a bit as well. I think a few more tiny tweaks to the filtering and we'll be there. I'm more and more impressed with BLHeli 32.9 and the new ByRPM dynamic PWM as well. I'm running the Aikon AK32 Pro with 48 minimum and ByRPM maximum, and it's so smooth, without having any of the low throttle stability and lousy braking performance that usually comes with 96khz, and also none of the weird throttle linearity issues that the old dynamic PWM had in earlier BLHeli 32 versions. Combined with the insanely good crossfade RPM filters in 4.3 and the super smooth SunnySky R2305 motors, this thing is unbelievable. The low weight of the Bones really helps too. I can fly a 2000mAh 4S on this thing and it's still lighter than my standard QAV-S with a 1500mAh and the Hero 7. Overall I'm just extremely happy with this setup. Other than that, just some chill flying with a new friend! Check out his channel over here, and you'll probably catch his video.
