The American Spirit gets an assist from the US Coast Guard

The American Spirit was moving slowly on Lake Erie when they called for a US Coast Guard assist into the Port of Toledo. The ship was sitting in the middle of the lake as the harsh winter weather froze nearly 90% of the lake before it made it in. With the help of the US Coast Guard the ship made it back into port on January 21st 2026 after a week on the lake. We put together a short video capturing the United States Coast Guard assisting the ship into the Port of Toledo. A really cool moment on Lake Erie.
