VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: Tyler Mason: We've got a talented drone pilot joining us today from Munich, Bashir Abu Shakra. Bashir, thanks for coming on The Drone Dish. Bashir Abu Shakra: Glad to be here. Thank you. Tyler Mason: Normally I like to ask a lot of the pilots on the show how they got into drones. How did you first start flying drones? Bashir Abu Shakra: So before one year I was watching some videos on YouTube and I came across a video from Switzerland that everything was shot with a drone, and the part of that was Switzerland with a drone so that was the first time that I knew that work. So I started searching on Amazon about the drones, that's when I first come across the Phantom 4 Pro. Yeah, that's when I thought it would be a really good idea to share with my friends an adventure with me and my brother. Tyler Mason: Now you live in Germany, a lot of mountains around you. You do a lot of flying in the mountains. What do you enjoy the most about being able to show that area and the beautiful mountains there? Bashir Abu Shakra: The good thing about the mountains is that they are mysterious. There's always something new to explore on the mountain, a new path to travel, in addition to that it teaches you about peace. It teaches you how to respect time because you have a limited number of batteries for the whole week of climbing and hiking, so I have to use that time very carefully. Tyler Mason: One of my favorite videos that you've uploaded to AirVuz is "Alps in 4 Seasons." How did you get the idea to film that in the four different seasons and put it all together? Bashir Abu Shakra: So the end of the last year I decided to make a short video, in 2017. And I noticed that I visited the Alps for the four seasons and I filmed them, so I thought it would be a really good idea to make a film called "Alps in 4 Seasons," and to summarize all the adventures I made throughout this year. Tyler Mason: Now I know music is a big thing for your video. It seems like all your videos have a really perfect sound choice, what's your process for picking the music for your videos? Bashir Abu Shakra: So epic music is the most important thing in my videos besides my footage, and sometimes it can really take me many, many weeks of listening to hundreds of powerful, epic music on YouTube just to pick a single music that can suit a single aerial up shot. Tyler Mason: Perfect. You've flown some very cool places, what has been your favorite location that you've flown your drone? Bashir Abu Shak: So for me, I don't have any favorite location because I think every landscape and every mountain is special and beautiful in its own way, but from the perspective of drone regulations, I think that Switzerland is the winner here. Tyler Mason: Yeah, I'd love to fly there sometime, I've never been to Switzerland so I hope to make it someday. Well, Bashir we enjoyed chatting with you today on The Drone Dish. Keep up the great work and take care. Bashir Abu Shakra: Thank you very much.
