The Needles are the amazing formations on the west end of the Isle of Wight, reaching around 400 m into the sea. When we were there the winds were crazy, no chance of flying a stabilized drone but the Nazgul Evoque sliced the air nicely - with quite a bit of roll to stop it drifting away.

Carisbrooke Castle was built from 1101 and added to even in 1588 when the Spanish Armada threatened British shores. King Charles I was imprisoned here. Two attempts to flee failed, one because he was too fat for the window... Can't have been too unpleasant for him there - the bowling green was built for the prisoner...

St. Catherine's Oratory was built by the Lord of Chale as penance for stealing the wine from a ship wreck that belonged to the church. The tower is the only remaining part of the church.
