After 7 straight weeks on race rates I brought my HyperLite Flowride to a cemetary that is just starting to get used outside Stockholm in Sweden. It was a beautiful sunny day with a few degrees below freezing so I set the Session to ISO100, superview, 60fps and auto shutter, put 8 packs in a plastic bag that I then put directly against my body under shirts and my jacket. If you let lipos cool down that much before you use them you get 1/4 of the normal flying time and often fall dead from the sky if you punch it below 15V - seeing something like 8.8V for a fraction of a second before it all goes black. Anyway, the plan was to go pretty hard once out there and get the freestyle rates back into my system but a few seconds into the first flight it felt like I was about to rape the sky above that park. Strange since I've flown hard there a lot before but I guess the perfect quiet with no wind at all, the new white snow covering everything and the sun giving that perfect crisp light got to me a bit and it just felt better like this. Nothing fancy, and nothing crazy... just a guy hugging a park with his quad. :) Filmed with a GoPro Hero5 Session strapped to the back of a HyperLite Flowride filled with butter.
