It's called the Red Church, and it's located near the town of Perushtitsa in the province of Plovdiv, in the south-central part of this Southeast European country. Situated just a few mi/km southwest of the province's (namesake) capital city, the church dates to around 500 AD. It's considered one of the rare examples of solid brick church construction during this period of time.

Inactive basilica located near the town of Perushtitsa. The church was built around the V-VI century during the reign of Emperor Anastasius I. The temple was called the "Holy Mother of God", but today it is known as the Red Church because of the Roman bricks and pink mortar from which it was built. The ruins of the church are one of the most remarkable early Christian monuments in Southeast Europe. The Red Church is an architectural and archeological monument of national importance. The central building is in the shape of a four-leaf clover, located on the remains of another ruined building with almost the same plan. The total dimensions of the church are: length - 32.45 meters and width - 29 meters.
