Submission for #EnterTheWorldOfHansZimmer movie contest. The protagonists are a man and a woman, Anna and Nicolas. She is a professional violin player; he is a rather sceptic professor in art history and a historian, at Ghent University. Both have been passionate about the Altar Piece for ages. Anna has a family secret with which she can decipher a century-old alchemy formula; Nicolas has been an ardent lover of the Altar Piece’s history and the mystery/mysticism that surrounds it. The only thing that keeps the two from examining the Altar Piece is an international gang of merciless criminals that want to get a hold of the secret. The formula is hidden in one of the twelve panels and leads – together with Anna’s knowledge – to a century-old life elixir, going back to the age of Jesus and his disciples. Did the saviour have eternal life after all? When Anna is kidnapped, an exciting adventure starts …” Filmed in Ghent en Deurle Belgium.
