Rio de Janeiro is not just Brazil's second largest city; the province by the same name is the country's second largest state, with 17 million people as of 2018.  It covers a land area of about 43.7 square km (just under 17k square mi.), most of it looks far different than places like Copacabana Beach, Niteroi, and Sugarloaf Mountain.  Award-winning contributor Fabio Knoll created this epic drone video of a very old tower in a beautiful area in the state's interior, well west of the city which is also the state capital.
