This is How I Practice Drone Racing in Golden Light

I have finally gotten a fresh round of race gates that I can actually fly through. This was my first real gate practice session that I got some time to fly through constantly at mid throttle speed. I have several gates now; 4x 2.5ft, 2x 3.5ft, 4x 5ft & 1x 6ft. I was going to put up a decent course after work but the local park was FILLED with toddlers "playing" soccer. (AKA bumbling around hurting themselves & chasing butterflies.) I chose to go to the area behind the lake but LO AND BEHOLD was run off by park security (POLICE) who didnt give a fk about my FAA certification & awesome knowledge status because where I wanted to fly was a ...bird sanctuary. SANCTUARYYYYYYYY!!! So... I drove all the way home & at the last minute decided "NO! I am GOING to fly!!!" So I went to ol faithful Quail Park & whipped out the 5ft gates. Starting out with just two was really lackluster so I dropped 4 & it was all good. I only had 20 minutes of golden light so I had to make it happen. I recently went back to the M9 gimbal upgrade from the M9-R gimbals I installed for about a month & a half because the reds were definitely not preferential especially my being a pincher. I feel like I have so much more resolution now BUT as you can see in my video that I have to get used to them again as well because I am under-correcting myself. With the reds I was over correcting & jerky. It is also at this point I feel like I need to adjust the tune a little bit & my Hypetrain motors are starting to come loose a bit at the bells lending to a jag in the video at times. Good thing I have some Lumenier 2350kv waiting in queue. While I was out flying, a random dog appeared & hung out with me, watching my drone as I flew around. It was really nice & just spectated. Lots of petting was given in return.
