This is a short video sketch about our stay at Three Sisters and the Elephant Rock beach during our big trip to New Zealand in 2020

There is a large free parking lot near the Tree sisters beach, there are toilets and a cafe trailer.

The most important thing: you need to come to Tree sisters beach during low tide! Otherwise, you won’t see even a small part of it!

What is Tree sisters beach famous for? Beautiful rock formations sticking out into the sea. At low tide they are effectively reflected in numerous puddles.

True, during a storm in 2003, the youngest of the sisters fell into the sea, and the elephant’s trunk was torn off... That’s all I knew about this beach... Of course, the dream was to get there at sunset, but it didn’t work out and probably everything is for the better! If you plan to get to this beach at sunset, plan to spend at least 2 hours before sunset. First of all, it's huge! From the parking lot to the sisters themselves is about a kilometer, and after the sisters you still have to walk and walk! Secondly, there are so many interesting things there! Personally, I couldn’t walk a meter without oohing and ahhing!

It's just a completely shameless variety of textures! There are round stones, small sand dunes, streams collected in fancy braids, and much, much more.

When going to this beach, be sure to wear trekking boots, or even better, trekking sandals, otherwise you risk getting screwed here! Although I would love to walk there barefoot...
