Thurwasserfälle, Unterwasser–Wildhaus, Switzerland

The 23 meter high Thur waterfalls and the Gamplüt mountain station are the highlights of this hiking route. All along the route there are wonderful places to fry sausages or to enjoy the peaceful nature. From the village center Unterwasser you hike 10 minutes to the Thur waterfalls. This natural spectacle can be observed from the bed of the stream, but also from above. A tunnel in the rock leads the visitors 23 meters upwards, where you linger directly at the origin of the waterfall and feel the wetness on your own body.
