Top of Snæfellsjökull Glacier, Iceland Dronie

Award-winning contributor wrenee brings her trademark "dronie" shot to one of the most iconic spots in Iceland: the Snæfellsjökull, a glacier-topped volcano near the tip of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula on the western part of the island.  The volcano has a peak altitude of 1.45k meters or about 4.75k ft.  It's considered one of the country's most well known sites, in part due to its appearance in Jules Verne's landmark 1864 science fiction novel Journey to the Center of the Earth.
