Toto visits The Danger Committee on Stage

This last Summer, I was invited by my friend Carr to fly my drone, "Toto", in the wonderland which is The Minnesota Renaissance Festival. My initial intent was to safely create tranquil aerial videos of peaceful Mermaids. Carr, in his generous tour guiding as the Ren Fest Entertainment Director, fortuitously introduced me to the amazingly talented, and honorable, Caleb McEwen.
Caleb then granted me the potentially embarrassing opportunity to have Toto fly on stage in a dangerous, daring and death-defying display of stupidity. Having the nerves of a rabbit in an alligator pit, I trustingly, and blindly accepted, without any rehearsals or reservations. Shortly after a couple acts in the Danger Set, Toto reluctantly obeys Reynaldo’s bullwhip commands and enters center stage to maintain steady nerves as burning torches whiz by from the Bald Guy juggling to the Other Guy. Reynaldo, not having enough risk-taking, asks Toto to get up against the wall where a worn rough dark spot was evidence of a hatchet target! Another poor life choice. It was all or nothing for Toto now. Surviving that was a moment of relief, an appreciation for their skills, and the shear audacity on both The Danger Committee and Toto.
Having Toto spared an expensive demise, we returned to risk-fully record this poor life choice a second time. To make that a successful completion, we edited the short two camera video with a little background music and performance audio of the time Toto foolishly spent in the hands of The Danger Committee. It's a hilarious hair-raising video with simultaneous views from terrified Toto and astounded audience.
In addition, there is a closing clip of “Reynaldo” and "The Other Guy” in the flaming dagger catch, with his bare hands, and in slow-motion, too.
As a Commercial Photographer and FlySafe Certified sUAV Pilot, my happy passion creating safe RC Aerial Photography is only surpassed by the ability to share this imagery to those that can benefit from enjoying it. I would like to share with you this video of one stupid life choice.
