The almost entirely moountain-covered region, one of the 20 which make up the modern state of Italy, incorporates the provinces of Trentino (Trento) and South Tyrol (Bolzano). The video includes footage of the Val di Funes, the Passo delle Erbe mountain pass, the Meran 2000 ski resort, the (rapidly shrinking) Presena Glacier, and the commune of Peio.
