Trolltunga itself is a shelf-life rock formation which extends from a mountain, roughly 700 meters (around 2.3k ft.) above the north shore of Lake Ringedalsvatnet in the municipality of Ullensvang in Vestland County, which is part of the official region of Western Norway. One of Norway's most iconic spots, Trolltunga is accessible via a very difficult 27 km (around 17 mi.) round-trip hike from the village of Skjeggedal.
