Two Tall Ships: One and All plus Enterprize - Melbourne

This weekend I filmed the Enterprize tall ship as well as the One And All tall ship which had recently arrived from Adelaide. The weather wasn't great but it was great fun filming these magnificent tall ships.

My drone friend Dan organized it and we filmed on Saturday and again on Sunday when both ships sailed near each other. The One and All had already packed up its sails by the time it got close enough to us. I also met Dan's friend who is part of the Enterprize ship crew who also loves drones.

The 27-metre topsail schooner Enterprize is a replica of the tall ship that brought the first European settlers from Tasmania to found the city of Melbourne in 1835.  Her new mission is to provide you with the opportunity to experience life on board a 19th-century sailing ship.  Enterprize is sailed by a crew of volunteers from all walks of life and is managed by the Enterprize Ship Trust on behalf of the people of Victoria.

One and All is a tall ship based in Adelaide, and rigged for twelve sails, which are controlled by 100 lines. After being launched in 1985, she took part in the First Fleet Re-enactment Voyage as part of Australia's bicentenary celebrations, travelling from Rio de Janeiro back to Australia.[1] She was commonly used for sail training, offering courses and voyages that last from between a few hours to many weeks, especially for youth at risk. The vessel is run by registered not for profit group Friends of One and All Sailing ship Inc. and supported by volunteers and professional crew.
