Amongst the more notable features of the Indonesian island of Bali are its rice terraces. These systems of water management are not unique to Bali, but the rice terraces here represent some of the most complex arrangements on earth. It's near the village of Jatiluwih, in the Tabanan Regency in the central part of the island. These terraces have been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.
