Upnor Castle UK
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this drone video of a well-known artillery fortress in Southeastern England, compliments of oszibusz. Upnor Castle is located near the mouth of the River Medway in County Kent. It was built to protect Royal Navy assets on the river at the direction of Queen Elizabeth I in the mid-16th century, when England was seen to be vulnerable to invasion from Spain. The fortress was eventually supplanted by a stronger set of fortifications downriver, where the Medway empties into the Thames Estuary.
