BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

I wanted to put together a film that visually conveys what it really feels like to go through a winter in Cornwall. Focusing on the darker elements, the bleakness of the coast, the freezing cold winds of December, dramatic storm-cloud sunsets, and the ruggedness of fog swept woodlands. I wanted to move away from the more commercial aspects of Christmas, the late-night high street chaos, Christmas markets, and tourist attractions. In the dark depths of winter the coast feels particularly barren, with big swells rolling in and sometimes not a soul to be seen. I’ve also integrated elements of traditional Celtic culture, including the pagan celebrations that still take place across Cornwall. The winter solstice dance — a masked ball of energy and uniqueness felt like a powerful way to reflect the deeper seasonal rhythm of the land. I hope you enjoyed my film work and see this as my new-year wishes and blessing going forward. Wishing you a wonderful 2026.
