Ursulovac Lake is located below Crna glava, which is also the largest mountain peak in Bjelasica with an altitude of 2,138 meters. The lake captivates with its breathtaking beauty, which is ready for an adventure to reach one of the most inaccessible lakes in Montenegro. The Great Ursulovac Lake is close to the village of Kurikuće, which is why some people call it Kurikuće Lake. The area of Bjelasica where the lake is located is called Ursulovac, so the lake got its name from that. Of all the lakes on Bjelasica, it is at the highest altitude, so it is much colder, but also clearer. It is located at an altitude of 1,895 m, is 162 m long and 106 m wide. Its average depth is about 3 m, and it varies depending on the water level. Due to the absence of vegetation and rocky bottom, the water is relatively clear. The lake is of glacial origin, in its immediate vicinity there are two springs from which the lake gets water, and it loses it only by evaporation, it does not flow. The small Ursulovac Lake is also known as Blatina. It has a small area and depth and is located at 1760 m above sea level. It is about a kilometer away from the Great Ursulovac Lake. It is 175 meters long and 90 meters wide. It is 3m deep. He never dries up, although he is threatened with extinction. Serves as a watering can for cattle.
