A cinematic study of gravity and scale at the iconic Studlagil Canyon, Iceland.
This sequence was designed to push the limits of the DJI Mini 4 Pro. By combining precision gimbal control with aggressive speed ramping in post-production, I aimed to simulate the intensity of a free-fall dive while retaining the stability and image fidelity of a cinematic platform.
The edit focuses on the geometric contrast of the basalt columns and is driven by sound design—layering atmospheric wind dynamics with Hans Zimmer’s "Time" to create an immersive sense of depth.
Technical Specs:
Drone: DJI Mini 4 Pro
Settings: 4K / 60fps / ND Filter
Location: Studlagil Canyon, Iceland
Audio: Hans Zimmer - Time (Sound Design Edit)
