The state of Espírito Santo is by far the smallest of the four states that make up the Southeastern Region of Brazil. Of the roughly 4 million people who live in the state, about half live in the Greater Vitória area. This metropolitan area includes the cities of Cariacica, Fundão, Guarapari, Serra, Vitória, Vila Velha, and Viana, all of which sit on the estuary of the Santa Maria da Vitória River. In this drone video by ARdrone, you'll get a bird's eye view of Vila Velha as well as the larger urban area of which it is part.
