The Tongan volcanic eruption on January 15th 2022 is still providing us with these colourful sunrises/sunsets from its ash cloud. There are fast winds in the stratosphere, and it takes about 12 days for an injection of this ash cloud material to circumnavigate the globe. The overturning circulation will remove material from the stratosphere, and will take approximately three and five years. The ash cloud is slowly moving toward the poles and will eventually dissipate. This was shot in the morning during civil twilight. Autel Lite+ - shot in 4K, 30fps.
