Warren Sand Dunes at Lake Michigan.

These are the Warren Sand Dunes in Michigan, on Lake Michigan. This place has become special to me. When I went there to fly, the song in the video was playing in my car. Actually, I had it on repeat the entire time I was flying. The song is "In A Sky So Blue" by 7and5. What's crazy is despite the footage being in 4k, in person was so much more beautiful. There was A LOT of humidity in the air and you can see that on the film. Being a sunset with lower light didn't help either. Despite that, this place was amazing. The entire time I was there, I wished my late best friend, KC Lyon, would have been with me. (He passed away a little over a week after I filmed this). He would have loved it, and the music describes the kind of person he was in his heart perfectly. A few hours after I left there and was driving through Chicago, KC and I talked on the phone for a long time. I told him about it and how I wished he was there, and he said he would love to go someday. Maybe he's checked it out in spirit now, but that is why this place will always be so special to me. Every time I see it, I think of him.
