Winter Pieniny Slovakia
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor mário stašák brings us these marvelous wintertime aerial views of the Pieniny Mountains in northern Slovakia. The Pieniny serve as the natural boundary between Slovakia and its northern neighbor, Poland. The mountains are part of the Western Beskid Mountains, which in turn form part of the Outer Western Carpathians. The highest peak of the Pieniny range is Vysoké Skalky (known as Wysoka on the Polish side of the border), which has a summit elevation of about 1.05k meters above sea level or around 3.45k ft.
