Winter on a Croatian island - true cinematic

I have always wondered why people like to come in the middle of summer and suffer in the heat, in the crowd of other tourists, instead of coming to the sea in winter, when there is no crowd, when it is not cold (enough to swim around noon), but not too hot either, when you can get a nice tan, and when you can fully experience the beauty of the sea just for your eyes and soul?
