I have always enjoyed punching and diving my Quad, I have this rugged slope on the edge of one of my favorite flying areas that is about 50-60 deg and covered in cattle trails from years of stock walking across the ridge. It's a cool one to dive on and easily within range of where I fly from which you can see in the first half of the video, "The Mound" I call it. I am using a Mobius HD Action Cam and have it mounted on a Ball Mount that you can swivel and rotate then lock. I always enjoy experimenting with different camera angles, this vid has a few, Rear Cam, Side/Rear Cam and regular Front Cam. The second half of the video is flown from the top of the ridge which I haven't done before. It was great because I could hear the quad screaming either up or down as I was ripping past myself on the ridge top. Unfortunately my HD camera had a flight of its own the day before and failed to record anything, luckily I recorded the DVR on my Aomway goggles. I had to be creative showing the DVR as it normally looks quite horrible, it doesn't fit the frame, it is poor quality at full screen, has no sound and has all the OSD - On Screen Display overlayed on the video recording. So I synced the ground camera footage that was shot from where I was sitting on the ridge top to the DVR FPV Footage and put the DVR in the middle of the Ground Camera video. You can hear the Quad in the Ground Cam Footage (in the background) and sometimes get a flash of it screaming by while you get the synced DVR FPV Footage to watch in the middle. It was really windy on the ridge so I silenced the Ground Cam Sound between passes so the video doesn't have constant wind buffeting the camera mic. I hope you enjoy this FPV Quadcopter Freestyle Video. Filmed in Taupaki, Auckland, New Zealand. A Brigzy FPV Production.
