You are NOT ready… this drone changes EVERYTHING

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Arnaud Lesueur earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding video from the French Alps. The video was filmed with the DJI Avata 360, which (as its name suggests) sports a 360 degree camera. The 360 degree capability captures the spectacular alpine scenery from every possible angle, allowing the video to "focus" on spots which were not necessarily even in the pilot's (FPV) field of vision during the flight itself.

I’m introducing the DJI Avata 360 through this cinematic video. I spent a week capturing these shots with DJI’s brand-new drone, which features 360 shooting capabilities. I had the chance to test it thanks to Camara, where I also created a hands-on video for them. You can use my code IMAGINE on their store to support my work: They say images speak louder than words, so this video is purely cinematic. I’ll be releasing another video sharing my thoughts for those interested in this drone. What I can already tell you is that this drone opens the door to entirely new ways of framing shots. It’s not perfect, but it’s a very promising first step for this kind of drone.
