Especially since, you know, March is over. Rusty Kath: That's how mad this is. It is March Madness in April. Allie Krings: That is madness! Now, we've taken all of last month's entries and whittled it down [00:00:30] to 16 sweet submissions. Rusty Kath: They have been seeded and placed into four regions. The left side of the bracket features the Miscellany and Animalia Regions. The right side is home to the Action Region and Landscape Region. Allie Krings: Each submission will go head-to-head to battle it out for YourVuz supremacy and bring home $500. Rusty Kath: I am sure people all over the world have filled out their brackets in various office pools in this highly-anticipated tournament. Allie Krings: I doubt that. But let's get to [00:01:00] it. Rusty Kath: Let's. Allie Krings: We start out in the Miscellany Region, where number one seed Santa Cruz Lighthouse tries to live up to the hype against eighth-seeded Tea Fields at Java. Rusty Kath: Both are lovely, and in fact, I'm a little surprised Tea Fields are seeded so low. Maybe because coffee is so much more popular in the United States. Allie Krings: Moving on to the next round will be: Santa Cruz Lighthouse! Rusty Kath: So the top seed advances, and there will be no green for the green tea fields, as they are out of the tournament. [00:01:30] Next up, number five, Spinning Fireball Show, against number four seed, Molokai and Maui. Allie Krings: You'd have to be mad to be spinning balls of fire like that! Rusty Kath: I sure would, Allie. Goodness gracious, great balls of ... Oh! It's Molokai and Maui moving on. Allie Krings: No surprises so far, with the top seeds winning the first two match-ups. Next up, the Animalia Region. Rusty Kath: Every video in this region features, no surprise, animals. Allie Krings: We [00:02:00] start with number three Aussie Surfing with Sharks, taking on sixth seed, Utah Dog Sledding. Rusty Kath: Those Aussies look to kick the dog sled into the Outback, Allie. Allie Krings: You'd have to be mad to be surfing with sharks like that, Rusty. Rusty Kath: I sure would be. And advancing on will be ... Oh! It's our first upset, as the Utah dogs sled into the quarterfinals. Allie Krings: It's a dog-eat-dog world, and those sled dogs just ate some Australian surfers. Rusty Kath: Didn't actually happen, but let's go ahead and get into our [00:02:30] next match-up. Allie Krings: Second seed Lions from the Drone welcomes to its den seventh-seeded Close Call with a Pelican. Rusty Kath: Have you ever had a close call with a pelican, Allie? Allie Krings: No! But I did have a pelican burger at a restaurant once. Rusty Kath: Really? How was it? Allie Krings: It was good, but the bill was enormous! Rusty Kath: That was dynamite! Let's get back to our match-up. Moving on to the Elite Eight will be Lions from the Drone! Allie Krings: You'd have to be mad to walk into that [00:03:00] lions' den, Rusty! Rusty Kath: Thanks for that, Allie. All right, so one half of our first round is in the books. Time now to go to the right side of the bracket. Allie Krings: You might say this region is quite "action-packed." Rusty Kath: That's because it's the Action Region. Allie Krings: That's right! Lights, Camera, Action! Rusty Kath: First up, a battle of first-person view, as number one seed FPV Drift Car Race is pitted against the eighth seed, Cosmic Tiny Whoop Racing. Allie Krings: It's a shame these two are meeting in the first round. [00:03:30] Both are fantastic. Rusty Kath: They are. Great control following those cars around the track, and I'm a sucker any time you see Tiny Whoop at a bowling alley. Allie Krings: Winning this round is FPV Drift Car Race! Looks like Cosmic Tiny Whoop left the frame open. On to our next match-up from the Action Region, with number five, Just Fly, taking on fourth-seeded Slop Inc Jam. Rusty Kath: I'm starting to go mad from all the times Just Fly is flying through that same tree. Allie Krings: I think you'd have to be [00:04:00] mad to take a bike off those jumps. Rusty Kath: It looks like the dude abides! Slop Inc Jam advances into the Elite Eight. Allie Krings: We're down to just one more region in our March Madness Tournament, and that's Landscape. Rusty Kath: Yeah, let's get right into it as we set our final two spots in the Elite Eight. We begin with three seed Black Seamphony, up against number five, Cascate Di Cusano. Allie Krings: Two different approaches at how to capture some majestic nature and wildlife by drone. Rusty Kath: Both beautifully shot, [00:04:30] but only one can make it to the quarters. Allie Krings: And it's Black Seamphony moving on. Rusty Kath: Wow! Honestly, I'm surprised. I had Cascate Di Cusano picked to move on. That is going to really mess up my bracket. Allie Krings: Now, just one more match-up in our first round. Rusty Kath: This one will be close to your heart, Allie, as your brother somehow got into this bracket. Allie Krings: Well, he's really coming along as a drone pilot. Rusty Kath: Maybe we should have named this the Nepotism Region, huh? He's going to have his hands full. He's the number seven seed, and is [00:05:00] up against a formidable foe in the number two seed, titled A Long Back Run Over Two Beaches. Allie Krings: A little wordy. Rusty Kath: Allie, why don't you give us your breakdown on these two? Allie Krings: Well, obviously, you can see a very controlled flight here, with perfect lighting, majestic views of a gorgeous landscape, and then there's the other one with the beach. Rusty Kath: And it looks like, upset! Allie Krings: My brother won? Rusty Kath: What? No, my stomach is upset. I've been drinking coffee all morning, and I haven't had anything to eat. No, your brother lost. [00:05:30] Like, big time. That was basically unwatchable. Allie Krings: Oh, okay. Well, since this is "nepotism," I'll still see if I can find you a hat or something. Rusty Kath: Maybe some drone flying lessons, as well. Congratulations, Beaches moves on to the Elite Eight. Allie Krings: Well, our first round is complete. Let's take a look back at the bracket to see how things are going to stack up heading into quarterfinals. Rusty Kath: Your thoughts on that first round of action? Allie Krings: Oh, gosh! Impressive submissions all around. I think the only sort of big upset [00:06:00] was the Utah dog sled video, a hashtag sixth seed, beating out a hashtag three. Rusty Kath: Pretty sure that's "number six" and "number three." Allie Krings: Ah! Super confident it is "hashtag!" Rusty Kath: Either way, one round in the books, and it's a great time now to take a break, and hear from our sponsors. Apparently we don't actually have any sponsors, so let's just go ahead and move [00:06:30] on to the quarter finals. Allie Krings: We begin with the Miscellany Region, as top seed Santa Cruz Lighthouse goes to battle with number four Molokai and Maui. Rusty Kath: Two worthy opponents, but only one can move on to the Final Four. And it will be ... Whoa! Number four Molokai and Maui. Our first number one seed has fallen! Allie Krings: That submission from Ryzone will be matched up against either Utah Dog Sled, or Lions from the Drone. Rusty Kath: [00:07:00] Who do you like here, Allie? Allie Krings: Well, the lions are the higher seed, but I've got a soft spot in my heart for dogs. Rusty Kath: It looks like the lion sleeps tonight! Utah Dog Sledding from Level Media lives to race another day! A number six seed moves into the Final Four. Allie Krings: Well, how about that, Rusty? A big upset in the Animalia Region. Rusty Kath: I think a lot of viewers are taking their office pool brackets and throwing them right out the window after that upset. Allie Krings: Well, I don't think that's the case, [00:07:30] Rusty, but let's move on. Rusty Kath: Right, so now the Action and Landscape regions need to send their best to the Final Four. Top seed FPV Drift Car Chase takes to the track against another mode of transport in Slop Inc Jam. Allie Krings: You'd have to be mad to take part in either of those activities, Rusty! Rusty Kath: I feel like you've used that line already several times. Allie Krings: Pretty sure that was exactly the first time. Rusty Kath: Two very deserving entries, but only one can advance. [00:08:00] Moving on is the number one seed, FPV Drift Car Chase, from Pilot Xhuzai. Allie Krings: Our final Final Four entry will come from the Landscape Region, where some people still think my brother's entry should have won its first round. Rusty Kath: Nobody is thinking that. Allie Krings: You never know! Rusty Kath: I'm pretty confident. Allie Krings: Either way, one of these two will win and advance, and it's A Long Back Run Over Two Beaches from Christian Cuvelier. Rusty Kath: So there you have it, the Final Four [00:08:30] in this tournament is set! Allie Krings: Not a single surprise on the right side of the bracket. Not the case in the Animalia Region, where Utah Dog Sledding tries to become this year's Cinderella story. Rusty Kath: I just hope those dogs aren't wearing glass slippers, Allie. So here it is, the Final Four, and we'll let these videos speak for themselves! Number one seed Santa Cruz Lighthouse, against sixth seed Utah Dog Sled. Allie Krings: I thought you were going to let these videos speak for themselves? Rusty Kath: I am. [00:09:00] Starting now. Allie Krings: This improbable story has another chapter. Utah Dog Sled moves on to the finals. Who let those dogs out, Rusty? Rusty Kath: I think it was the Baja Men. All right, so Level Media is in the finals, and time to find out who they will be taking on. Will it be FPV Drift Car Chase, or A Long Back Run Over Two Beaches? Man, this is intense! Allie Krings: [00:09:30] I'm on the edge of my seat. Rusty Kath: This is why people tune into this show every single March. Allie Krings: April. Rusty Kath: April. And the trend of top seeds winning that side of the bracket continues on! FPV Drift Car Chase has skidded its way into the championship round! Goodness me, this is exciting! Allie Krings: This is what everybody's been waiting for. Rusty Kath: It is like the bottom of the ninth. Allie Krings: The 18th hole! Rusty Kath: Like the final minute of play in an overtime game. Allie Krings: The final two contestants at a Scripps National Spelling Bee. Rusty Kath: You said it. So [00:10:00] folks, without further ado- Allie Krings: A-D-U. Rusty Kath: O. Allie Krings: O. Rusty Kath: We get into our final matchup. Allie Krings: It's the top seed, FPV Drift Car Chase, taking on the number six seed, Utah Dog Sledding. Rusty Kath: Who do you like here, Al? Allie Krings: Well, the drift car is amazing, but I do have a soft spot in my heart for an underdog! Rusty Kath: With those puns, you'll be broadcasting on Fox Sports Arctic Circle in no time. Allie Krings: [00:10:30] This is intense! Rusty Kath: Here's the final decision, and it's FPV Drift Car Chase! The top seed was in the driver's seat the entire tournament, and has proven they are the maddest of them all in 2017! Pilot Xhuzai has won the YourVuz March Madness Tournament. Allie Krings: Do you think you're pronouncing that correctly? Rusty Kath: That pilot is getting paid, so I don't think they care. Allie Krings: You're right. Congratulations! You are not only our tournament champ, but $ [00:11:00] 500 richer! Rusty Kath: Wow! What an incredible tournament! Allie Krings: Unbelievable. Rusty Kath: Where do you go from here, after March Madness, huh? Allie Krings: Well, I'd like to go on Sprang Break! Rusty Kath: What's that? Allie Krings: It's like spring break? Rusty Kath: Oh, let's do that instead. Allie Krings: Yeah. Rusty Kath: Spring break! That's our next topic. We want to see the destinations you go to or want to go to for your spring break. Allie Krings: Submit your videos to AirVuz.com by April 24th. When you do so, make sure you use the keyword "yourvuz." [00:11:30] Thank you to all those who submitted videos for our March Madness Tournament. Rusty Kath: Including your brother, who may have lost in a bracket of one. Allie Krings: I'm Allie Krings. Rusty Kath: I'm Rusty Kath. Thanks for checking out YourVuz.
