On this episode of YourVūz, hosts Rusty Kath and Allie Krings show us drone videos of YOUR signs of spring. Things kick off with Gregory Milunich's (AirVūz Profile milunichphotography) beautiful aerial views of the morning fog on the water in "Foggy Bottom." "Spring in Stillwater" by Patrick Hassett (pmhassett) gives us a bird's eye view of things around the farm in Stillwater, Minnesota. Spring means golf to our Vūzer Hazeltine National Golf Club (Hazeltine National Golf Club), who is getting ready to host the 2016 Ryder Cup. See how the course is doing with this aerial tour in "Hazeltine National Golf Club - April 2016." Things are finally thawing out for Andre Hope (DroneinNorway) in "Spring in Norway April 2016," while Bryan Lesage (Bryan_Lesage) shows us what his neck of the woods looks like in "International School Eerde Video." Sky Perth (Sky Perth) takes us droning around the gorgeous landscapes of "South Western Australia," before we see the first of our Top 4 Finalists, familiar face Charlie Coquis's (EaglEye CQS) "One Day of Spring in California." He says he shot the video on his Phantom 3 to capture the stunning purple trees in Long Beach, California. Finalist Kevin Powers (KAPtureDM) happened upon a family of whales migrating north in "Whale Pod Migrating North." He was able to capture these breathtaking views with his Inspire 1 Pro Black. "Springtime Melt in Western Canada" by Steffan Karpathiou (Aero Retinal Optics) was shot in Alberta, Canda. This finalist says he picked that location because of the stunning waterfalls and used his DJI Phantom 3 Professional with a Polar Pro Polarizer Lens Filter to capture the images. Our last finalist, Aurelien Baud (AurelBaud) said it took him 2 weeks to shoot "Tierra Magica, Chiapas (Mexico)." He shot these wonderful aerial views on his Phantom 3 Advanced. The big winner of this episode's $500 grand prize? "Springtime Melt in Western Canada" by Steffan Karpathiou!! Congratulations, Steffan, thank you for showing us your aerial views! For your chance to be on next month's episode, show us your most epic drone fails. Use the hashtags "Fails" and "YourVūz" and submit by June 25th for your shot at $500! VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: Rusty Kath: Hey, Allie. Are you flying a kite? Allie Krings: Well, hey, Rusty. I sure am. Looks like you're riding a bike. Rusty Kath: You bet I am. Boy, these are two great signs of spring. Allie Krings: And what a coincidence. On our last episode, we asked people to submit great signs of spring. Rusty Kath: Oh, hello. Welcome [00:00:30] to YourVūz. Allie Krings: And AirVūz original program. Rusty Kath: Instead of watching our bad acting, maybe you'd rather just watch these videos of signs of spring. Allie Krings: Impressive fog machines. Really outdid himself on this one. Rusty Kath: I think that's actual fog. Allie Krings: [00:01:00] Where was the dog for the pets episode? Rusty Kath: I think in Stillwater. [00:01:30] Those are pretty good. Allie Krings: Yeah. I really liked the golf one. It looked like a swinging good time. Rusty Kath: That's because swinging. Funny, that's funny. Allie Krings: You know that course is right above par. Rusty Kath: Because they're flying the drone above it. Yeah. Allie Krings: Yeah. Rusty Kath: That's good, yeah. Allie Krings: Do you feel like these golf puns are driving a wedge between us? Rusty Kath: Can we just roll the next videos, please? Allie Krings: [00:02:00] I had no idea that Norway was so beautiful. Rusty Kath: Is that a fjord? Australia. [00:02:30] Put another shrimp on the barbee, mate. Allie Krings: I think it was Austria, in the movie. Rusty Kath: Oh, yeah, you're right. [00:03:00] Those were really good, too. Got any bad ocean puns? Allie Krings: When I do they come in waves. Rusty Kath: Let's go ahead and take a look at our top four finalists in this episode. EagleEye CQS shot this in Long Beach City, California for, no surprise, the beautiful purple trees. [00:03:30] Shot it on a Phantom 3 Professional drone. Allie Krings: KaptureDM saw this incredible shot of these whales migrating exactly half a mile away in a spot in Southern California. [00:04:00] This was a complete chance encounter. He shot it on his Inspire 1 Pro Black with Lumix Leica DT lens. Aero Retina Optics shot springtime melt in Canada in Lundbreck Falls, Alberta. He picked that location because of the stunning waterfalls. He used a DJI Phantom 3 Professional with a Polar Probe Polarizer lens filter. Rusty Kath: [00:05:00] Aurel Baud shot this over the course of two weeks while staying in Chiapas. He really wanted to capture the energy coming from the soil and the fact that he felt really tiny in front of this nature. He shot it on a Phantom 3 Advanced, which is his first drone that he got just six months ago. Incredible videos. [00:05:30] Of our four finalists, the winner is ... Allie Krings: Springtime melts in Western Canada. Rusty Kath: Congratulations, Stefan You are the winner of $500 cash. Allie Krings: That's $500 U.S., eh! Rusty Kath: [00:06:00] Drone's freaking me out. Well, this is a total fail. Allie Krings: And that's going to be our next challenge topic. Rusty Kath: Yeah. Your fails. Maybe it's you flying your kite into a drone. Allie Krings: Maybe it's you falling off your bike. Submit your videos by June 25th. When you do so, make sure you use the hashtag YourVūz and the hashtag fail. Rusty Kath: Our winner gets $500 [00:06:30] cash. Allie Krings: That's quite a pay day for your worst fail. Rusty Kath: We can't wait to see YourVūz or your fails. Allie Krings: Sorry. I don't even feel bad.
